-
Acrylic Powders: These high-quality powders in various colors and finishes have the variety you need for the enhancements you want. YN acrylic powders come in 24 beautiful colors and two different essential formulas: Core and Speed. Speed sets in approximately sixty seconds for efficient application, while Core has a longer setting time for more opportunity to touch-up your enhancements until they are just right. Both formulas provide exceptional adhesion to the natural nail and a consistency that is salon grade every time.
-
Acrylic Liquid: Paired with our versatile line of powders, choose a professional-grade liquid for perfect consistency. Young Nails monomer liquid has phenomenal self-leveling properties, meaning that, with the appropriate application, the acrylic bead will even itself out to form a sleek and smooth overlay.
-
Acrylic Kits: Our acrylic kits contain complete kits for beginners and professionals. Whether you are trying DIY acrylic nails or replenishing your professional stock, these kits come loaded with everything you need to create foolproof enhancements time and time again.

Acrylic Nails FAQ
-
How long do acrylic nails last?
-
A full set of acrylic nails, when well-maintained, should last up to three weeks before requiring fills or maintenance. Check out our guide on How to Make Acrylic Nails Last Longer.
-
Can I remove acrylic nails at home?
-
Anyone can achieve safe and professional-level acrylic nail removal results with a high quality e-file. First, nails should be clipped at the free edge so the excess length painlessly and easily snaps off. The e-file is used in an ergonomic “feathering” motion to remove the bulk of the built-up acrylic. When there is only a thin layer remaining, the e-file should be turned down to a lower RPM setting and the remaining acrylic is gently “tickled” away, being careful to maintain the integrity of the natural nail. Read more about how to safely use e-files.

How are acrylic nails applied?
-
Acrylic nails are applied to prepped natural nail surfaces with two products: the acrylic powder, and the monomer liquid. Most of the skill in application is a matter of technique. The brush has to be handled confidently and in a controlled manner. First, wet the brush well in the liquid. Then, a bead of acrylic is created by pressing and bouncing the tip of the brush on the surface of the acrylic powder. After that, the bead is applied close to the cuticle, yet leaving a small space to ensure the product does not come in contact with the cuticle or skin surrounding the nail. As YN liquids create a self-leveling effect, angle the finger so it points downward and the product should do most of the work of moving itself down the nail toward the free edge, but the technician’s brush is used to guide the product on the sides and finish off the edge. Once the enhancements are set and filed smooth, polish and topcoat are applied as usual. For more info, check out our full guide on How to Apply Acrylic Nails for Beginners.
